The skating surface requires hardly any maintenance. Very intensive use may cause small burrs and micro-particles could become dislodged from the surface. Brushing at the end of the day is sufficient to prepare the rink, ready for the next day. The floor needs to be polished regularly by using a polishing machine. For rented floors this is the responsibility of the rental company.

As the floor is dirt and water repellent, heat, UV and chemical resistant and non-magnetic nothing will adhere to the surface. If there is sand or other dirt on the floor it needs to be swept. Art-Ice supplies an environmentally safe soya based cleaning product with filling characteristics for the surface texture.

As Art-Ice is a dry skating surface the renting agent and/or customer don't need to make any additional adjustments.
